Ryder Davis clinched both national championships at the final MotoAmerica round at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Winning the FIM Mini Cup series solidifies his entry to the FIM MiniGP World Series in Valencia, Spain. Davis also won the MotoAmerica Mission Mini Cup championship.
"I've had many close encounters with winning in the past, but now that I've done it - mission accomplished," said Davis, 14, of Pittsburgh, PA.
Davis won three out of four races over the weekend. The Alpha Omega rider took one victory and one-second place on Friday. The pressure was off on Saturday, with the championships wrapped up on Friday. Davis won both races on Saturday in the rain on his Dunlops.
Davis had a total of 19 wins and 22 podiums this season. He will be heading to the MiniGP World Series in November.
